Using my own body to disturb a very fragile surface gave me the possibility to create this eerie feeling of almost photographic presents. After years of experimenting with different materials I have finally discovered an implementation technique for this project, using a unique monoprinting method.
Diving into my own Universe
The moment we are diving into the ocean at night, It feels as if we are falling into outer space. A moment of being boundless, weightless, detached and floating in endless darkness. Our own reflection under the surface of the water gives a glimpse of a memory of our self, before it fades into blackness after a few seconds as we sink deeper. We are ready for our last breath, aware of and ready for the final moment of absolute truth and peace, fearless as we carry the whole universe in our self.
